MOAB III Has Begun!

We're looking forward to meeting up with everyone this evening in Vegas - the Welcome party will be in our room at the Hard Rock Hotel at 8:30pm.

And, as I type this post, I have just decided that I will back packing the Fruit Hat that is pictured here being modeled by the birthday girl herself - I think we will be making it the official hat of MOAB III...

MOAB III Itinerary

With MOAB III mere days away (and with people en route to Vegas as I type) it is time to reveal the final itinerary for the weekend. Please review the details below and let me know any questions - you know how to reach me.

Travel Arrangements

Nick & Kate, Shaun and Sam, Tracey and Jilly will already be in Vegas before Friday. The rest of us will be arriving during the course of Friday as follows:

Craig and Michelle - Flying in and getting to hotel around 4:00pm

Kim, Ev, Johnny and Janie - Driving and getting to Vegas sometime early evening.

Itinerary - Friday Evening

8:30pm Craig and Michelle's Room - Welcome Party

10pm Dixie's @ Hooters

11pm Purple Reign

1am Dixie's @ Hooters

Itinerary - Saturday

Noon to 1pm - Breakfast: Mr Lucky's in the Hard Rock

1:30pm to 3:15pm - Las Vegas Gun Range

3:30pm to 5pm - Pole Position Go Karts

5pm to 8pm - Free time

8pm to 11pm - Mesa Grill (reservations at 8:30)

11pm onwards - Martinis @ Seahorse Bar, Caesars

10am - Say our goodbyes: Venue TBD

MOAB III - The Wheels Are In Motion

You know that when people start boarding their flights to the United States from all corners of the globe for the singular reason of attending MOAB III that something special is beginning. And so, I am pleased and excited and barely able to contain my anticipation when I announce that it has all started.

Not only did Nick and (Evil) Kate start their journey with a flight from London to Boston at the weekend, but Tracey and Jilly began their adventure boarding the first of 3 flights that will take them all the way from Perth, Western Australia to the Nevada Desert and the Las Vegas Strip!


Shaun and Sam will be arriving direct from London on Thursday and the California contingent will be arriving via land and air during the afternoon on Friday.

But no matter where we are coming from we're there for one reason, and one reason only. Well, actually, two. But you get where I'm going with this...

This is it! This is MOAB III. It's the MOA-MOABs.
